**please leave your phone number when inquiring about this jeep—so that I may separate your inquiries from the ones I get from unscrupulous scammers. Thanks**
**I’m firm at $6000 cash —–if I still have it by beginning of december, I’ll reduce it another $300 —-but I doubt it will last until then.**
Howdy folks, this jeep is a beauty. She has fresh black paint, fresh decals, and very nice bedliner in strategic places–namely the interior and floor and rear bed.
Has original wheels. We do not have any hard top or soft top extras–what you see is what you get. It comes with the soft half doors and the bikini top—all you’ll need for your weekend play and fair weather adventures.
This scrambler comes with the smooth running and strong “Iron duke” 4 cylinder engine. Runs and shifts very good and transfer case works as it should. Tires look pretty good–plenty of tread–more of a road tire than off road—-quiet/smooth.
Things this scrambler could use:
Could use new fuses, some working gauges, etc.
Speedo and odo do not work–the cable is toast for sure—I’ve looked.
It has 40,000 on it right now showing—but surely it’s much more than that–no doubt.
The frame on this rig has some rust spots and some rot. It will need a few repairs before being a safe and road worthy scrambler. Or you could splurge and buy a new frame!! Fun! Has a new gas tank—needs to be installed.
Seats are pretty good–but could use cheap seat covers or go all out and install new seats! Needs a new seal on the brake master cylinder and fresh brake fluid–or just a new brake master cylinder and fresh fluid.
There’s a small drip from the oil pan—a new oil pan gasket and you should be good to go. The iron duke 4 cylinder is surprising peppy and more than enough to make this rig fun! I had no idea the iron duke was a racing platform–but evidently it has some good characteristics and is robust enough.
This rig will need to be trailered home–your trailer or mine—it lacks very little to be street legal and pass the state inspection.
This will be a great rig for cruising and looks fab !!
