I have a 1982 CJ8 Scrambler that I have been the process of redoing. I have a place to store it and am not desperate to get rid of it but am curious to see if I can get what I want out of it. I am reasonable with pricing as it is not a finished running jeep, it is rolling but motor and guages are not hooked up. The motor and trans are bolted in though. It is a complete overhaul project mostly completed with all parts included. I’m not looking to make money off of it just get some or most of it back. The parts list goes as follows…

New steel tub
New steel frame
New steel hood
Amc 4.2L 6 cyl
New billet valve cover
New power brake system
All new brake lines
Amc 20 rear axle
Superior 1 piece rear axles
New ox locker and 4.88 gear
Dana 30 front axle
Detroit true trac with 4.88 gear
T-4 tranny with Dana 300 transfer case
Hard top
Full soft top
Bikini top
New rear jeep emblem tail gate
All new grade 8 bolt kit for entire vehicle
Poison spyder front flat fenders
5 point harness system
Sport cage and factory roll bar
New 4 inch suspension lift
New 1 inch lift poly body mounts
4 newer 35×12.50 mud tires on Mickey Thompson rims
Spare is not a matching tire but same size and matching rim
New windshield frame and mounts
New mirrors
New seals
Full doors
Half doors
New grille
New shackles
New drop pitman arm
New crossmember with 1/4 inch steel skid
Newer oil pan
New sway bar disconnect links
New lowering brackets to level sway bar
New drums, rotars and all hardwareÂ
New bearings
New different cover for rear
Two sets of seats
Tube bumpers that came with it when I bought it
There is not a drop of bondo on this vehicle with everything being brand new and I don’t believe in using it. Thus why everything is all steel and not fiberglass.

Everything is heavier duty than what came factory. I may choose to continue build, if I don’t get any reasonable offers. I am asking for a reasonable offer, it has $18k in parts not including the original price of the jeep. I am not currently looking for any trades . If you have further questions please let me know. As far as more pictures this is the best I can do for now because of the way the jeep is positioned in my garage. And to answer a question I’ve been getting a lot, yes the jeep has a title, it is still titled as a 1982 CJ8 Scrambler.
