If you have been searching for an old school Scrambler, you know just how hard they are to find. I buy cars for a living and I see MAYBE one a year. Most of those are roached out and a frame off restore, cost just shy of $60,000 to complete.
This build was a labor of love that started over five years ago. The Jeep was taken apart, and tediously repaired or replacement parts put back into place. This keeps the Jeep as original as possible, while upgrading items that add to safety and comfort. Such items are the detachable sway bar links by JK, all new springs which were fitted with nylon bushings, for the ultimate in wearability and versatility.
This Scrambler has it all. Ice Cold, Air Conditioning, AM/FM Stereo, Bucket Seats, original glass, seats, fiberglass top, rhino-lined interior and bed, Brand New 31×10.50 Falken Tires and much more.
This Jeep hits the road as it should. The only issue I have found is an output shaft seal on the transfer case. It has a slow leak, but is very repairable. You are sure to be the only one around with a Scrambler of this caliber!
